Whitehaven Retreat – November, 2019

Our latest Lake District retreat has just waved goodbye to the last of our writers. In a new location, based in the super quiet countryside nestled away behind Whitehaven, we have had a great 3 days of writing, relaxing, walking, eating, drinking and socialising.

One of the key benefits that came out of this retreat was the ability to write in peace and quiet but to share experience and general discussion with others authors, all working in different genres and disciplines. It was fabulous to hear of writers achieving so much more than they had anticipated!

On Saturday night, writer and director, Steven Nesbit joined our retreat by Skype from America, bringing his wealth of experience to share and discuss with our authors.

We are now planning out our retreat calendar for 2020, which will start at the end of February and are looking at new venues in the north east, by the seaside and the midlands.
