This fabulous venue, in Mealstown at the top end of the Lake District, offers a range of delights for authors and writers of all levels. Relax or write in your room with your own dedicated writing facilities or in one of the quiet communal areas. In the evening enjoy a game of pool, an amble around the grounds, soak in the hot tub or chill with a movie.

Arrive on day one from 3pm and settle into your room at our homely and peaceful venue in the Lakes. Writing time starts just as soon as you’re ready either in the peace of your comfortable room or in one of our shared writing areas. Afternoon tea is included on your first day and refreshments will be available on arrival.
We have a full schedule, too, of optional additional activities and workshops.
