This fabulous venue, in Beal in the heart of East Yorkshire, offers a range of delights for authors and writers of all levels. Relax or write in your room with your own dedicated writing facilities or in one of the quiet communal areas.
Choose from one of the following rooms (prices shown are fully inclusive for the full stay):
Ground floor Retreat Suite: £POA. Beautiful large double with private seating area, ensuite with Jack and Jill sinks. Own private entrance.
1st Floor
York Room. £POA Single, private balcony, en suite shower room
Bedale Room. £POA Queen, private shower, shared toilet
Ripon Room. £POA Double, en suite shower room and toilet (limited view)
Richmond Room. £POA Double, en suite shower room and toilet
Scarborough Room. £POA Double, en suite shower room and toilet
Whitby Room. £POA Double, en suite shower room and toilet
Arrive on day one from 2pm (earlier arrival can be arranged) and settle into your room at our homely and peaceful venue in Yorkshire. Writing time starts just as soon as you’re ready either in the peace of your comfortable room or in one of our shared writing areas. Afternoon tea is included on your first day and refreshments will be available on arrival.
We have a full schedule, too, of optional additional activities and workshops.
