28th July, 2025 – 14 nights, Teen Summer School, secured with £100 deposit.

This fabulous venue, in Beal in the heart of Yorkshire, offers a range of delights for authors and writers of all levels. Relax or write in your room with your own dedicated writing facilities or in one of the quiet communal areas. In the evening enjoy an amble around the village and countryside and socialise in our comfortable lounge by the open fire.

Choose from one of the following rooms (prices shown are fully inclusive for your entire stay):

1st Floor

York Room. £POA Beautiful twin, private balcony, en suite shower room. Shared

Bedale Room. £POA Queen, private adjacent shower room

Ripon Room. £POA Charming double, en suite bathroom (no shower) and toilet

Richmond Room. £POA Lovely double, en suite shower room and toilet

Scarborough Room. £POA Lovely double, en suite shower room and toilet

Whitby Room.  £POA Beautiful double, en suite shower room and toilet

Ground Floor
The Retreat Suite, beautiful twin, en suite shower room. Shared. Suitable for mobility issues.

Arrive on day one from 2pm (earlier arrival can be arranged, if needed) and settle into your room at our homely and peaceful venue in Yorkshire. Writing time starts just as soon as you’re ready either in the peace of your comfortable room or in one of our shared writing areas. Afternoon tea is included on your first day and refreshments will be available on arrival.

We have a full schedule, too, of activities and workshops.

Included in your retreat price:

Mentoring sessions from a recognised industry professional.
All meals and refreshments including afternoon tea on the first day and breakfast on the final day.
